Dark Redemption Cover (And Free Copies!)

26 Jul

As everyone knows, Dark Redemption is right around the corner.

The release date is creeping up slowly but surely, and now things are getting crazy between me and my team. Thankfully though, the cover is already prepared. I wanted it kept simple, and for it to show the book’s overall theme. I have to say, I am perfectly happy with its simplicity of message.

The winter and dead trees represent the darkness, the sun represents the redemption.

Dark Redemption Cover

The cover of my book out this November, Dark Redemption.

Anyhow, with that in mind, here is the cover. May I also ask something? What are your opinions? Please share them in the comments and spread the word!

I’ll be picking some random commenters, who’ll get a copy of the book in either PDF or Kindle format as per their own choice, and whoever chooses Kindle also gets a Kindlegraph!

Okay, you guys ready? Get set, comment and share! Thanks and love you all!

* Update – the release date has shifted to July 2013 as per a residency I’ve been asked to take part in. Please check out the Project Updates page for more details.

You First-Class Jerk!

15 Jul

Welcome to the newest post on the blog, and today we’re discussing the jerks in the world of fiction. Aiding this discussion is one of the major characters in Dark Redemption, Sophia. She’s answering a couple of questions about Alexander, the main character, plus getting a chance to rant.

Anyhow, frequent visitors to this blog may recognize Alex as the unruly subject of this little interview. Let’s move on!

Legends :

M – Me, the author of Dark Redemption

S – Sophia, a major character of the novel

M : Hello, Sophia, and welcome to our little chat.

S : Glad to be here. The house was really getting a little stuffy, and Alex refuses to let me out, for reasons I won’t share because they would be slightly  weird.

M : That could be easily misconstrued. Just saying.

S : Oh. Can we move on to more innocent things, then?

M : Sure. So, here are the mechanics. I’ll give you some basic direction, but otherwise, this interview is free rein for you. You will be discussing Alexander and his attitude. You okay with that?

S : As long as you don’t tell him everything about this, yeah. First question?

M : Scenario one. You refuse to come out of your room and eat for some personal reason. What would he do?

S : He would threaten to break down the door. Continue reading

Fighting with Alex : A Chat About Dark Redemption

13 Jul

Hey, folks. Welcome to the newest post on the blog, which is a conversation with the main character of my upcoming novel, Dark Redemption. I thought he would be better suited to talk about the novel, since it is about him and I’m just his faithful scribe. Anyhow, let’s do this!

Legends :

M – Me, the totally crazy author of Dark Redemption

A – Alex, my totally unruly but enjoyable main character

***

M : Don’t be problematic, Alexander. Just start talking to the people. And don’t talk in Old Norse, idiot.

A : I swear, the humiliation you put me through, Bea. If you weren’t so useful to me, I’d have let go of you by now, but I can’t quite do that yet. What should I talk about?  Continue reading
